Ptarmigan House (pronounced Tarmigan) lies on the south side of Blair Atholl. The house
was originally a shooting lodge and possesses fine views towards the hills. The rooms
are tastefully decorated and equipped with television and tea and coffee facilities. All
rooms have en suite facilities.
Breakfast is served in the large dining room. Guests can choose either a continental breakfast or a traditional cooked breakfast.
Blair Atholl has a population of about 300 and is located at the southern gateway to the Scottish Highlands. The focal point of the village is Blair Castle, which is open to the public from Easter until late September.
