Gordon & Lin opened Ptarmigan House in 1997 and have been welcoming guests ever since.
Gordon is local and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. He is from a farming background. Lin is from the south coast and has travelled extensively before settling down in Scotland.
Their 2 son’s run the family farm near Crieff; and their daughter Eve was a full time curler (now retired), she represented GB at the last four Winter Olympics winning bronze in Sochi (2014) and gold in Beijing in 2022. She was the Ladies World Champion in 2013, won the European Championship on three occasions 2011, 2017 & 2021, and was a four-time World Junior gold medallist.
Thomas and Glen also represented GB at the Winter Olympics in South Korea in 2018. Thomas is a 3 times medallist at the World Junior Curling Championships winning Gold in 2013 in Sochi.
