Dear guests new and old we are pleased to report that covid 19 restrictions are slowly easing here in Scotland.
We are preparing for a safe reopen of Ptarmigan House on JULY 22nd. For everyones safety covid 19 protocols will be implemented and you can be rest assured we will do our utmost to make your stay as safe as possible.
Once your booking has been confirmed could you please telephone us on the day of arrival to confirm arrival time.
We accept travel plans maybe disrupted at any time so could you please let us know ASAP if you are unable to come.
Check in will be from 4.30pm but will be be happy to store your luggage for early arrivals.
We will ensure there is plenty of hand sanitiser in all bedrooms/communal areas through out the guest house. We have a limited supply of masks,however would strongly encourage you to bring your own. Please note that you must wear a face covering on public transport private taxis and in all shops as per government guidelines. We also request our guests wear a face covering in our public areas.

In the grounds you can hear the birds singing and the lambs bleating; house martens nest in the eaves, red squirrels, pheasants and roe deer are often seen in the garden. There is ample private parking and a lovely garden to sit in.
The house is approximately 1 mile from Blair Castle, the historic seat of the Duke of Atholl. Pubs, restaurants and shops are all close by.
